Pro Bono Portal – Accepting and Managing Referrals
Volunteer attorneys already working with LSNV can view cases being referred for pro bono representation by registering with the LSNV pro bono portal. Once registered, the volunteer attorney is able to view the list of available cases, and is able to filter by type of issue and jurisdiction. A brief description of each case is provided to the volunteer attorney, along with names for a conflicts check. If interested, volunteer attorneys can indicate their agreement to take the case, and additional information will be provided by LSNV’s Managing Attorney for Pro Bono. Attorneys can enter file notes into the portal at any time, and can close the case online by entering the final outcome and time spent on the case.
